The front area of the PickNicker cave is without teddy fur, so your dog can lie cooler here. When it gets a little cooler, he can retreat inside the cave and lie there on the warm teddy plush.

The dog caves are available in different sizes, from small to extra large, to meet the needs of different sized dogs. This means we can offer all dogs a comfortable place to lie down, from Chihuahuas to Ridgebacks! You can find all information about the right size here:
The covers are made from high-quality and durable synthetic materials that are resistant to odors and dirt. Many of them are designated as specifically pet-friendly. This means they are particularly easy to clean: Lighter dirt can be easily wiped off with a damp sponge cloth; You can vacuum dog hair, etc. The inner pillow is filled with either cold foam flakes (standard pillow) or visco foam flakes (orthopedic pillow).

We use two different cushions in our dog caves that you can choose between: The standard inner cushion is the perfect combination of stability and comfort. The cold foam flakes give your dog a good and stable hold, support the joints and still allow for a cozy feeling when lying down. The inner cushion can be easily fluffed up again and you can adjust the filling amount individually using the zipper, depending on your dog's needs. The orthopedic inner cushion has been specially developed for dogs with high demands on lying comfort, seniors and those with spine and joint problems. The visco foam flakes are particularly pressure-relieving for the spine and joints. If necessary, the pillow can be kneaded to loosen the flakes again and maintain the fluffiness.
It should be noted that the orthopedically active material reacts to heat. Of course, it is more compact in winter or on cold stone floors than in summer or on underfloor heating. If the room in which the snuggle dreamer is lying is very cold, for example due to an open window in winter, we would be happy to recommend our standard inner cushion made of cold foam flakes. This also has wonderful support, but the base is not solid in the cold.
Care
The covers are removable and can be washed in the washing machine at up to 40 degrees. Important: Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softener. Light dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Please read the specific cleaning recommendations on the product detail page and on the care label inside the cover.
The covers of the dog cave can be washed in the washing machine at 40 degrees. This makes it possible to keep the dog cave clean and hygienic, especially if it is dirty or needs to be cleaned regularly. However, note that this applies to the covers and you should ensure that you follow the care label instructions carefully.
Most models can be tumble dried. It's best to turn it inside out (turn the roof inside out) so that the inside surface is on the outside, then put it in the dryer and the snuggle dreamer will look fresh again! Attention, only air CaptainFluffy in the wool program at a low temperature and let it air dry!
That depends on the model – outdoor products (Picknicker and Kalle out!) made of olefin must not be put in the dryer as the material is very sensitive to heat! Simply let these products air dry! It's important to follow the instructions on each model's care label to ensure you care for the dog crate correctly and avoid potential damage.
All other models, apart from the CaptainFluffy and CaptainFluffy Topless models, can be tumble dried at a low temperature. The best way to do this is to turn the cover inside out (turn the roof inside out) so that the inner material looks outwards. This way the remaining hair comes out well.
Please only air the CaptainFluffy and CaptainFluffy Topless models briefly in the wool program (low temperature) and let them air dry!
The long-pile faux fur of CaptainFluffy products is happy to be brushed every now and then. It's actually the same as a dog with long fur - so it stays nice and soft for a long time and doesn't get matted.
